The Giver

This book is very boring so far but it might get better so you never know until you read the whole thing.

In this section of the book it just states who the characters are. Jonas is a boy who is going to be a 12 soon. He is a good young boy who likes a girl named Fiona . Fiona is a smart girl who is good friends with Jonas and Asher. Asher is Jonas's best friend. He is a black haired boy, he likes to play games all the time and he is a hilarious kid.

It also explains lots more like what the Ceremony is. It is a time where all the people in the Community get together and celebrate and get more stuff. Twelves get new job/assignments in the community. Younger kids get coats and bikes and ribbons removed from their hair. It also explains what newborns are and how they're given out to family units.

I didn't really like this section of the book it's boring , but it fills you in on a lot and I hope it gets better.
