Response #3

The Giver

I liked this part of the book some what. It tells a lot about the memories.

I liked how the Giver can give of these memories to help Jonas. It will make him wise but it will take hard work. When the Giver gives Jonas memory about a slide, at first it's pleasant but the next memory of the slide is full of pain.

You can see Jonas is getting very wise because he's been training for weeks. Jonas gets scared when he finds out the Giver gives advise to the elders. Jonas feels like he'll gives bad advise when he becomes the receiver.

Jonas is good with Gabriel because when his parents can't sleep because of Gabriel. So Jonas stays with Gabriel and he cries so Jonas transfers a pleasant memory to keep to keep him asleep Jonas found out he was able to transfer the memories.

I hope the book gets more interesting in the next chapter.
