BRING A FRIEND NIGHT 2001
Spy themed night
Some ideas Courtesy of a Miniscouts Member
Materials Needed:
White Poster Board
Izone Camera with enough film to take 1 photo of each girl
safety pins
crayons, felts
Scissors and tape
Ink pad and baby wipes
Black thick permanent marker
Items for a Detective Game (toy car, stainless steel bowl, Lunch bag, stuffed toy, Big set of keys, ladle)
Fair sized Blanket (I used my camp blanket)
CRAFT:
Special Agent Badges
I precut out large police shaped badges from the poster board and wrote the words "Special Agent" on them all.
I pre-punched a hole in the top of them and secured safety pins to all.
The Girls each had a photo taken with a Polaroid Izone camera when they first came into the meeting place.
Then took their picture over to find a badge and decorated their badges with crayons (felts would work better i think on the poster board) Then they made fingerprints on the badge and stuck the photo on.
You need the scissors because the Izone photos have these papers hanging off each side that you need to cut off.
You need the baby wipes to wipe fingers after making fingerprints.
You need a permanent marker to write on the child's name after its been decorated.

SPY GAMES:
Hedge Hog
This is where we used the Blanket. The girls are asked to scatter around the gym and then Leader says HEDGEHOG, all the girls bundle up as small as they can get and close their eyes ( no peeking). Leader Covers one girl up with the blanket so that she is completely hidden and tells the other girls, heads up. The girls have to be detectives and figure out who is missing from the group.
* This game worked really well, I didn't expect it to go over so great at a Bring a Friend night but the girls really loved it and knew every time who it was that was missing
