Wizard Spells

This table of spells is organized by School, to better enable you to understand the limitations of each of the Specialist Mages. Note that some of the spells in BG2 actually belong to two Spell Schools, and thus cannot be learned by any Specialist Mage who has either of those Schools as an Opposition School. For instance, Melf's Minute Meteors is both an Evocation spell and an Alteration spell, and is therefore prohibited to Enchanters and Abjurers. The good news is that the Level 10 spells earned through the High-Level-Abilities in Throne of Bhaal are not listed here, but you don't need to worry about them: They do not truly belong to any School of Wizard Magic, and thus all may be learned by any Mage, regardless of Specialization.
