We know most of you are as weary of spam as we are . The spammaz render any mail box nearly useless . It has become very clear that there is nowhere to turn for help with only one exception : OURSELVES ! Many of you probably have been to some of the anti-spam sites and have read and tried to understand how to find them ; how to report them and hopefully have them kicked off their ISP . Has that worked ? NO , not in the slightest ; if anything it has simply gotten worse .
Some of these pages were probably written by the spammaz themselves to
throw one off the real track .
We have decided not to go after the mailers of spamm but the people who pay them to spam . They are the real culprits ; I see nobody mentioning them . If it was DEMANDED of them to stop hiring the spammaz , then many would .
Here is our proposal ; open all spam , follow their links to whatever pages it takes you to . On their site will usually be at least one , sometimes more , email address ;
one that would be most useful for our purpose may be found under their link called "affiliates"; , this is where they solicit for the spammerz .If you dont see such a link any address will do .Send the site owners an email or two (do not use your real email address) (more on that ) and let them know that the days they can get away with this are over.
There are sites ,here is one , where one can send email without using your address at all . You can use a spammaz return address there ; maybe we could start a battle between the spammaz themselves . Just do not use your real address as a "from" .
We like to send them something such as the following : (it can be copied and pasted in the message box .
" You are hereby on notice that all spam to my mailbox will cease immediately , I will not except any excuses , delays , links to opt out . The days of spam are over for you and all like you from this day forward ." Or something such as " Any further spam from you will be grounds for a lawsuit . Action will be taken
and you will be liable for all court costs , attorney fees etc. I charge $500 each for the handling of spam ; you will be liable for that also . " Of course you can use whatever words suit you .
If one chooses , some do , you can subscribe the spammaz for a couple of newsletters , just to keep 'em busy . It seems they have too much time on their handz . There are some good links to newsletters in the guestbook , or you can use any search engine . Tip= search for newsletters , not newsletter .

It is strongly suggested that you get some program such as PRIVOXY or
similar prog to block the spammaz "web bugs". A web bug is a pixel that can track your movements much as a cookie does but most people are not even aware of them and they are hard to detect after infecting a computer . (You can
empty your Temporary Internet Files and get rid of them but as soon as you visit a site that uses them they will be there again. PRIVOXY blocks them to begin with. There may be others ; I am not soliciting any one program . A firewall also would be of benefit , and I would turn off cookies while visiting these sites

For those of you that care to do this ; you can click on the link sent by the "affiliate"
copy all info in the address window of your browser (make sure you get those numbers at the end of the address ; then report them to the site owner ; send what you copied.. Some owners will fire that spammer . Some may not . When a spammer sends you an email he/she has included a number that identifies him/her to the site owner so that they get credit for the hit... ie gets paid .
I would urge everyone not to purchase from any site that has a link called ";AFFILIATES","affiliate program" or very similar wording . If they have such a link
they are recruiting spammerz . You may let the site owner know why you choose not to purchase from him/her .
I am of the opinion that we can stop 75% of the spam we get ! I am working on the other 25% but am doubtful that all can be stopped . list of spammaz
