After graduating from RHS, I went to SDSU and shortly after got married to Patrick Shay also from RHS.  We were married about 2.5 years.  We are no longer married.

After I graduated from SDSU, I went to work in Public Accounting.  I served from 1997 1999 in the Peace Corps in Ukraine. I joined the Peace Corps mid accounting career in 1997, and taught international accounting standards at a University in Rivne, Ukraine.  I fell in love with the country, the people, the food and the language.  I still speak Ukrainian conversationally.

I enjoyed my accounting career choice exclusively until about four years ago when I was working as an accountant for Disney Studios up in Burbank and I discovered I had a hidden passion for acting.  I think I've always had the passion, but I just suppressed it a little as I'm a pretty practical person.  It's funny too because I remember seeing the musical "Grease" at RHS one year.  I think Kathy Danielson played Sandy and I remember Craig Buffington played Kinicky.  I remember then how they inspired me and how much energy I got from watching them.

While I am still working as an accountant in the San Diego County area, I am slowly trying to leave that field.  I just can't get rid of the acting bug.

I've actually done a couple of "B" movies which aren't all that bad if you guys get a chance to see them.  One is titled "When a Killer Calls" where I play the mother, and the other is "The 911 Commission Report" where I portray Madeleine Albright.  Both of the movies are at www.imdb.com. The movies were distributed to Blockbuster and Hollywood Video so they should be available there for some time.  Otherwise the distributor, The Global Asylum in LA carries them as well.  My most interesting acting project to date was the reality show I did with Dennis Rodman.  I totally enjoyed meeting and working with Dennis.  He transforms me from an accountant to a stripper! -No nudity- !

Glad to share a little piece of my last 10 years with you all as you all were very much a part of my history, and although we don't see each other like we did when we were at the same school, I find myself thinking of my RHS buddies all the time.

C
