After high school I moved to Escondido for a few years then took a promotion with my company to Las Vegas and have lived in Vegas since 1989 (except I got transferred back to So Cal from 12/94 - 12/97) then back to Vegas. I am married to my the girl I met in 1991 sitting next to me in a math class while attending UNLV. We dated for about a year then stopped and went our separate ways for almost 10 years (we reconnected every few years during this time) and then we decided no one else wanted us so we should stick together :) We have two little ones (Jordan our daughter is 3 1/2 and Tristan is a boy we are trying to adopt and he is one).
After college I did a stent in Corprate America and hated it so I returned to school and got an MBA with a focus in asset management and now run my own little money management/protection business. It gets stressful at times but the business allows me the freedom to spend the time I want with my family which is the No. 1 priority. I have seen all first steps, heard all first words and have been there for just about everything (I run my biz from a home office most of the time - I have an office outside of home but avoid it as much as possible). |
