Remember...?
Email me your favorite highlights of your days at RHS and I'll post them here.  It should be fun for all of us to walk down memory lane.
I'll get the ball rolling...

Remember all the different trees around the pit area and how each different tree had a group that hung out there?  There was the tree for the jocks, one for the mods, one for all the popular people....etc.

I remember the different cliques.  The Jocks, Geeks, Skaters and Punks.  Right out of the movie "Pretty in Pink."
I remember Tambo's Speech class, Mr. Holt's Civics class and the best Soccer team in the Avocado League - they almost never lost.
I remember going to Shaun McCaunaghe's (spelling???) house and skating his half-pipe and Friday Night Football under the lights.
I remember hanging around after school to watch my Sis and the Volleyball Team hold clinics for their "would be" competitors.
I remember the five million times I went to see Oingo Boingo.  Sports Arena, SDSU or Del Mar - it didn't matter. We had to go Oingo Boingo whenever they came into town.
Funny, I never thought about any of this until recently.  It's amazing what the Kuwaiti Desert will do to you.  Being so far away in a place that is, for the most part, another planet.
I remember quite a bit now, now that I'm so far away.  Everything I had tucked away has, somehow, come to the forefront as of late.

I'll start with three of the teachers I remember with the fondest
memories...

Mr. Biniaga (sp?), his shorts, Hawaiian shirts and sandals, and his
morning doughnuts!

Mr.  Williams, my favourite!  He was the best art teacher I've ever
had, not to mention a wonderful person, and I remember everything he
ever took the time to teach me about being me.

Gloria, dance.  One of the classes I'll never regret taking, and
always remember with a smile.

Moving a lot, growing a lot, has not diminished the memories of these
three teachers and what they did for anyone fortunate to have class
with them.

As a side memory... I remember Styx... right Wendy?
I remember Gloria's dance class and how she always taught us to walk with our heads up, a smile on our face ready to take on the world.

I also remember John Bowman's drama class. He was one teacher who taught you the value of learning on a whole different level.

I remember the Football games, the dances, the post-football parties if there was no dance going on.

Most of all I remember all the great friends I made and have managed to stay in contact with most of them.

Ramona will always be my home away from home.

Ramona Bulldogs Forever!!
