The work of
Rat Terriors
The above is an example of why I tell people not leave their Rats in their house alone when the dogs are not in their crates. For that matter don't leave them in a room alone by themselves.

This is the work of Cherrie and Amy. Cherrie was trying to get the red ball out the the crate and pulled out the paper when she was doing it. I'm not sure who shedded it up, probably Amy. I was in the computer room and hear a strange noise. Yeap, they got into trouble again.
Rat Terrier are very endearing dogs. They are loving, smart, playful, and a big dog in a little dog's body. They do have some bad habits including dugging, jumping, CHEWING, shedding paper, and seek and destroy certain toy which can be very hard to get them to stop unless you just don't buy that kind of toy again.  Not every Rat has all or any of the bad habits, take my Rikki for example has only one of the above, jumping,  but he likes to bark at the birds.

The trick is you just have to out smart them. It is your fault they get trouble for you left the temptation there for them. They do get better with age. Bella now does only a couple of things and I just make sure she is not tempted by them.
