I have always been a voracious reader. Since my childhood days, I read almost everything I could get my hands on. This coupled with an interest in languages lead to writing. During my engineering years I helped many a foreign students with their thesis, research work, interviews and so on. I always enjoy research. During my final year in chemical engineering, though I had average overall grade, I had top notch marks in my project that basically involved some research and organisation of information.

My first attempt at getting published was through articles for the local supplement of The Times of India, the largest selling daily of India. As creativity was seriously restricted in this I did not continue journalistic writing for long.

It was in 1999 that a Thai friend of mine, Paretas Hutanggura, introduced me to an advertising agency called Axis Designers. He worked there as a freelance illustrator. Soon I was writing copies for brochures, booklets, posters, exhibition panels and ads. I also had an opportunity to develop a comic book story for children that attempted to teach traffic rules. Fullstop Advertising was another agency for which I freelanced at the time.

Background
The Present

For the past one a half year I am working full-time as copywriter and accounts executive for Target Advertising and Marketing. It is predominantly an Exhibition agency designing exhibitions for trade fairs, etc. It has recently got involved in Exhibition Organising and Event Management. Most of the work displayed here was done here. My contribution in the work shown here is not limited to writing copies, I had active involvement in overall designs of all that is displayed here. The artistic inclinations have helped me in more ways than one.
