| It's 5:38 PM, December 31, 2004. The year 2005 is hours away in this part of the world. The disaster in Asia has been drawing the world's attention with shock and support. What a year we have had---how emphatically the year has ended, which made the death of 170 somthing folks seeking pleasure in a Argintina nightclub so insignificant...are we already numb by having my little mind strained by those mean and pretentious death counting of US military personnel while ignoring the loss of so many more innocent lives... WHO are the hero? Time magazine has given us the answer---it's just the end of a bloody beginning. And now 2005 steps toward us with the beginning of an end. We as independent huaman being will decide--based one our own conscience and wisdom ---what and how to be our own heroes of this new year. That is the real hope we can count on. The year 2005 will be a year of people, the oppressed and needy. |

| 1/4/2005 Brattlebor-White river Junction and arrived in Manchester before 3 pm. Rebecca called earlier and picked us up. Amy, Karen and R and me worked as a moving co. huffing up and down the three storey building...went to Shawn and DL shopping a bit. Set up everything and got really tired. Fedex delivered earlier in the morning and the black folks in the first floor helped to keep the luggages. Prior to departure, got a cell for YF. Everything is moving around me now... good news we won't start teaching till next week! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1/5/2005 Suk Song came to the front door a bit ahead of schedule. As said he is neat, efficient and helpful driving us to Hillside and had forms filled out. YF will start school tomorrow if it won't snow big... another issue settled and YF got to walk some walk now. I like this cityn not as colossal as NYC nor as tiny as Brat...so far so nice.. now I am typing in the city library, which is very cose to our dwelling and nice. Well, the ridge is not working. need to call Comcast and stuff. Andrea will be moving in this afternoon, I heard. No word from Sedia yet. |

| 1/6/2005 Big time snow---YF and i got up at 6 and found out his school day was cancelled. I felt rather lrelieved sinec I won't have to worry about him on the way home after school(we walked most of the route last night before sleep). I had some isunderstanding then when Andrea told me she would see me "there". I thought what the heck---how can I see you there without being able to get there? Then I called Reb. And Kar came shortly and drove me to the church at Spruce Street. By then I strated to realise the plan was to have registration "there" and then head for Concord later today. Due to the rain the orientation has been cancelled and rescheduled to tomorrow. I had some people come in and filled out forms. Hopefully there will be more tomorrow. An interesting experience. Sedia and othere of this group got locked up in Brat. Then we went home and ate some spaghetti that YF made before heading to the library where we went online. Got messages from K and L. Let it go. God bless all. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
