My hubby got this recipe from a co-worker and I use it often when the "kids" are here.

BAR-B-BARN RIBS

1/2 cup apple sauce (minus 1 tbsp)
1/2 cup ketchup
2 cups brown sugar
6 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
2 cloves garlic (crushed)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
5-6 lbs pork side ribs

Mix ingredients together in a saucepan. Heat until boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Lay ribs in foil roasting pan and baste with half the mixture. Bake ribs at 300F for 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours. Use drippings to spread over ribs while baking or use more of the mixture. Any remaining mixture can be frozen for future use. 

NOTE: The large amount of brown sugar and the long low heat baking time make the ribs tender and "gooey" good!
