MEET MY CAT

Meet "Ittybit". I know that is a strange name but she was just an ittybitty kitten when we got her..hence the name. She is almost 8 yrs.old and of course she is spoiled rotten.

This poem was written by the mother of a person I knew many years ago. Have the tissue ready,especially if you are a cat lover. It is written the way a small child would speak.

" LITTLE CAT "

  You're as stiff and as cold as a stone
                           Little cat!
Dey's done frowed out and lef you alone
                           Little cat!
I's a stowken you's fur,
But you don't never purr,
Nor hump up anywhere,
                           Little cat!
                          Why's dat?
Is you's purrin and humpin up done?
                           ~~~~~~~
An' wy fer is you's little foots tied
                           Little cat?
Did dey pisen you's tummick inside
                           Little cat?
Did dey pound you wif bricks,
Or big nasty sticks,
Or abuse you with kicks?
                           Little cat!
                          Tell me dat!
Did dey holler whenever you cwied?
                           ~~~~~~
Did it hurt werry bad when you died
                          Little cat?
Oh, why didn't you wun off an' hide
                          Little cat!
I is wet in my eyes..
'Cause I most always cwies
W'en a pussy cat dies
                          Little cat!
                          Fink of dat!
An' I's always solly besides.
                          ~~~~~~
Dest lay still dere in de sof' drown
While I tuck the gween gwass all awoun
                           Little cat!
Dey can't hurt you no more
W'en you's tired and sore..
Dest sleep twiet you poor
                           Little cat!
                           Wif a pat!
An' fordet all de kicks, sleepin' sound.
