A beautiful church, though under restoration at the time of my visit. The inside was gorgeous and I spent two hours just absorbed in its spiritual wonder. Getting there, however, seemed more adventurous. After finally getting on the right train, I was just two stops away when suddenly the train stopped, lights went out and everybody seemed to make this sound of irritation. Sitll not sure what happend, but I just followed everyone else and hopped on a bus assuming it was going in the right direction.
After seeing the Duomo, I headed back to Rome, along with all the other italians and I was stuffed on a train for 6 hours. Its a good thing it was a senic trip, otherwise I would have gone nuts. |
