And I thought the endless hallway of Disney's Haunted Mansion was wild!  This road is not far from several plantations I visited in the outskirts of New Orleans.
A great picture of Jackson Square in N'Awlins (gotta pronounce it correctly).
Jackson Square from the side (yep...it's having some rennovations done to it).
Brennan's Restaurant
Nottaway Plantation.  They give excellent tours (our gal even sang for us), as well as a fantastic lunch (had my first bread pudding here).  A little known secret about this place:  It has a whole floor underground for guests to stay, as well as a bowling alley (built by the original owner).
Oh...and try their salad dressing!
Oak Alley, not far from Nottaway.  This plantation has been seen in quite a few movies, including "Interview With The Vampire".  The stories told on the tour note that the home is haunted by many restless spirits.

Cafe Dumont, home of the N'Awlins beignet, and the cool saxaphone playing street performer.
And now onto something completely different.  This is Sabrina, a feline used to I cat-sit for on occasion.  (RIP)
This print is on a shirt I bought several months before 9/11.  I wear it proudly now on Independence Day, to note those lost in the tragedy, including the son of a former coworker.
