| My dog Bailey is a pembroke welsh corgi, born in May of 2001. Alas, he was adopted by a friend in January 2003, but is doing very well with his two fellow canine buddies. He is learning to mind his p's and q's, and is becoming quite the obedient little guy, though at times Janel still calls him "little Hitler". |

| One of my parent's cats, Talouse (Louis) with dusky conyer, Oliver. Talouse is several years old now, and is one of several "munchkins" in the family. Oliver and the felines get along well, as he is the dominant animal of their household. |

| A bit blurry through the screen of a window, this was what the skies looked like from the Haymen fire from the summer of 2002. Approximately 50,000 acres were burned to the ground, including many homes and businesses. Those areas, though starting to recover, are now suffering from floods during 2003's summer rains. |
