Things that mildly irritate me:

Most eight legged creatures, with the exception of the
wind-scorpion (long story), scare the crud out of me (I turn into a pale, trembling ninny).  That is why I avoided what I playfully refer to as "Spider Alley" at my last job in CO (a long room next door to my office that housed boxes of printer paper and tons of dead, LARGE, crunchy arachnids). At my previous job here in Florida, these suckers liked to pay visits to me by crawling down the walls or dangling from my bookshelves.  Thank goodness they didn't find where I transferred to.  *shudders*

Jaywalking - WHAT is that about?  I can understand it in more closely knit cities, but in Florida, it's just plain dangerous.  Take some advice, and (please) walk an extra fifty yards to the nearest crosswalk.

Not taking your life by the cojones (that means testicles to the non-Spanish speaking folk).  If life isn't taking you where you want to be or go, YOU need to pull yourself up by the bootstraps to make changes for the better.

Things that mildly amuse me:

My father's laugh, as well as those that give it up for a hearty chuckle.  Kudos, and good health.

Belching (if it's creative and denotes talent, I'll laugh and give it a nod).  That's what I get for living around guys most of my life.  An appreciation for odd, if not gross talents.

Odd shows like South Park and Aeon Flux - I enjoy South Park for its gross, juvenile humor.  I need that kind of sick, twisted shtick sometimes.  And Aeon, she's just a damn cool gal who has a way with men.  You go girl!

Things I wish I had already:

A job where I could explore my artistic abilities.  Yeah yeah, I got a new job with a great group, the pay is more, and I relocated to sunny Florida, but I'm still not there yet!  At least I'm "on the path" to where I want to be in the future.!

Things I REALLY enjoy:

Sunsets, clouds, stargazing - I have a few books on each, and find studies of meteorology and astronomy to be incredibly interesting.  I have a wild fascination with storm chasing.  (Yeah, I like museums too...scary.)

Good Friends - The kind that are into expanding their minds, their humor, their talent, and are looking for adventures.  Folk that are fun to hang with (no toxic types).
Beautiful sights to see in the world:

Colorado (where I spent most of my youth):
Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs - A great area to walk around on a warm summer evening.

Lake Dillon - A must see for fishing and camping.  Lots of people go inner tubing from the local river into the lake too.

Red Rocks Ampitheatre - Beautiful natural red rock formations combined with music equals one fantastic time.  U2 taped their  "Sunday Bloody Sunday"  music video there.

Park Meadows Mall - A mall you say?  Why yes...and this mall is absolutely gorgeous.  I love it for it's oak, granite  and copper combo.  I am an earthy kind of gal, and feel at home in settings that feel comfortable and natural.

Elsewhere:
Grand Cayman - Absolutely breathtaking.  The people are fantastic, and the atmosphere is fun and festive.  Try snorkeling at
Stingray Sandbar a few miles from the island.  It is truly a sight to behold, and partake in.

Jamaica - Even after being stuck in a cramped bus for 4 hours total going to
Ocho Rios, I gave this adventure a thumbs up.  Though for me, it's likely a once in a lifetime experience.  Try Dunns River Falls in the area, where you can walk up a rock embankment covered in waterfalls with dozens of other folks.
** Highlight of that trip - I missed taking a picture of this as we zoomed by at 60 mph, listening to Bob Marley.  I caught for a split second a small shack the size of an outhouse, with a sign on it that nearly made me split my sides laughing.  The sign read..."Future Walmart".

New Orleans - I finally caught a "Haunted History Tour" in early '08 with a friend, took a look at the French Market again (in repair since Katrina), sampled some REALLY good food (love roast beef po boys), took the trolley through the garden district and took many a picture of the georgeous houses, perused
Bourbon Street (no...I didn't attempt get any beads), and got to taste King Cake for the first time.  A few years back during my first trip, I visited a few plantations (Oak Alley and Nottaway) too.  New Orleans is an interesting, beautiful city in its own right, rich with history from many peoples.

Scotland - What an amazing place.  The people are so nice, full of pride for their country and always willing to assist the confused tourist.  I visited
Rosslyn Chapel, Glasgow (ever seen the Armadillo?), Edinburgh (the castle has such breathtaking views), and the Isle of Skye among other places.

Chicago
- I went there for the first time in June '08 (business trip), and am looking forward to another visit.  Amazing city, the people there are very nice, and the wind ain't as bad as they say it is.  Got in for free on a Thursday night at the Art Institute too!   The Dark Knight was filmed there, and I noticed how close they were to the areas I stuck to during my stay.
