| The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring This movie was highly anticipated by me and many others. The director did an excellent job of packing a long and wonderful story into a movie. The acting was magnificent, with not only big actors but also unknowns. However, the movie was not perfect. The time frames during the movie are very unclear. And several of the most entertaining sections of the book are skipped to save time. The movie is wonderful to watch, but it lacks the entertainment because there simply isn't enugh time to put some of the fun in. But hey, it's a three hour movie, we gotta cut them some slack. This movie is a must see, and I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Do go see Two Towers, which is in theatres this december. it will be the most exciting and suspenseful movie of the three. You will leave the theatre excited and aching to see the third movie. My advice, start reading the books, because not knowing how it all ends after the second movie will just simply kill you.
