Beta 0.35se
==========

I've added a few things to the public release that people have requested, as
well as a few other improvements:

- The parameter for setting the region in conditions (Regions seem to be
  numbered 1 to 4 for conditions, but 0 to 3 for orders.)

- Numbered Messages for using the "message shown" condition more easily.

- I've put in a simple hyperbuoy wizard that you can access from the right-click
  menu on the shiplist. The option to include Entry point buoys means 4 buoys
  will be added: one to jump to the destination Region, one for the entry point
  into the destination, one to jump back from the destination, and one for the
  entry point back into the first Region. The entry point buoys determine where
  the player arrives in a region, I haven't really tested A.I. craft.

- There is a toolbar to select orders so that you can change them while not on
  the Orders page. I've put in the conditions to Jump to the currently selected order.

- Preference to "ghost" FGs not in the currently selected Region.

- Naming the backdrops isn't really a priority at this stage, but if you'd rather
  have descriptions instead of numbers, make a text file called Backdrops.txt and
  put it in your AlliED directory and it will be read in.

Beta 0.3se
==========

This is a "special edition" public beta of AlliED. It's more a conversion of XvtED than what
AlliED will end up being like. Because I have to pay off my computer before I even get back
to my regular poverty, the full version of AlliED will be shareware of $10 U.S.

Because of the time involved, I probably won't be able to reply personally to all e-mail
for this version, but I do read all e-mail and will keep a FAQ section at my website.

If you've never used XvtED, check out the Manual at my site - it will give you a lot of
information on how to use AlliED. The Map in this version only includes icons (and dots
for new ships) and you can only edit start point 1 in it.

Briefly, the main difference since XvT is the four Regions of space. A Flight group has a
set of 4 orders for each Region, with a set of waypoints (other than start points) for each
order. Switch between the Regions with the "1" to "4" buttons on the toolbar, and "R-1" to
"R-4" buttons in the Map.

Also, backdrops now supply the light source for missions, with their "names" indicating the
RGB values and other details in the "Cargo" section.

Thanks to everyone who has expressed support, encouragement and interest in AlliED.
Thanks also to the regulars at Datamaster's site, especially Datamaster, Durron, Riley Man
and Defiant.
