The Lord of tirupathi is Sri Venkateshwara.He is the incarnation 

of Lord Vishnu.In kaliyuga (present yuga),vishnu took this 

avatara .You can see his image below.

It is said that in kaliyuga Lord Vishnu took birth in the name of

Srinivasa to marry his devotee Devi Padmavathi,in the area of

Tirupathi.Devi Padmavathi was the daughter of king Akasharaju

in Tirupathi.Bakuladavi was the mother of Srinivasa who looked

after Srinivasa very much. As a true mother,she took care of him.

Srinivasa at his childhood looked after the cows,took the honey

from the trees etc.With the help of devathas,suras and all rishis

he married Devi Padmavathi.After the marriage,Lord Venkateswara

with his wife Devi Padmavathi lived on the Tirumala hills.His 

marriage was very grand and it was a beautiful function for which

all the three loka's people attended and it made Srinivasa to took a 

huge amount of loan from Kubera,the Lord of wealth.It was said 

that to repay the amount, Lord lived on the Tirumala hills along

with Devi Padmavathi and fulfilled the devotees wishes.As a result

the temple became very famous and devotees also put a lot of kanike.

(gifts)Thus Lord repaying the money to Kubera even now.

Every year the bramhostava will takes place.Each day the Lord adors

a vahana(vehicle) and visit the town Thirumala.It is a joyous and

magneficient view for the people  who visit the fair.we will see a few

Lord Sri Mallikarjuna and Devi Bramaramba are the deities of Srisailam Temple.

It is very famous temple and one of the "dwadasha jyothirlingas".There are twelve

famous lingas means Siva temples in all over India. Lord Mallikarjuna and Devi 

Bramaramba are the incarnations of Lord Shiva and Devi Parvathi.

The Madurai Meenakshi Temple is known as "Sri meenakshi sundareshwar temple.

It is in Tamil Nadu state.It remained as the capital of Pandyan kingdom till 14th 

century.This temple is located on Vaigai river and the Pandyan king Kulasekhara

built this gorgeous temple around which he created a lotus shaped city"Madhurapuri"

Once Lord Shiva blessed the people and the city.On that occasion,the devine nectar

fell from the matted locks of Shiva and hence it became Madurapuri.later it became

Madurai.Let us see some pictures of the temple.

The main attraction of the temple is it's gopuram towers over the city.It has a thousand

pillar mandapam.They are all beautifully carved.They are all our symbols ancient culture

One has to visit the temple at least once in life's time.Evan thousand eyes are not enough

to see the most sacred Goddess Meenakshi and the temple.

The most important  festival is the sacred wedding ceremony of Goddess Meenakshi

and Lord Sundareswara which takes place during march-april.
