Sita feels her artistic expression is an inherent trait. She remembers painting with her Grandfather and states that her greatest
inspiration is her Father who encouraged her to draw and taught her
the power of color. Sita is a self taught painter. She paints in oils and
watercolors, painting a variety of subjects; with great
affection for animals.
Sita is a Member of the West Virginia Watercolor Society and the Greenbrier Artists. She displays and sells her work through many of their exhibits and local galleries, as well as annual shows throughout West Virginia and Virginia. She has sold her work privately in various parts of the country and is the Owner of "Sita's Dragonfly Gallery & Treasures", Fine Art Gallery, Fine Gifts, Artisan made Fine Art and Antiques, vintage and such.
Sita states, "Art is an expression of my spirit. Sometimes my art touches the spirit of others in the same way."
