Dear Diary,

Tonight was a night to remember. Seriously! We went for a drive, after dinner,
just up to the mountains to watch the sunset. We get up ontop of this cliff and
he parks just inches away from the ledge, shuts off the lights, engine, everything
and we just sit there. The city lights below are so beautiful and sorta blend together
as the windscreen is covered in drops of rain. It taps on the roof and sounds so romantic.

There's a console between us, because we took the SUV, instead of his Jeep. Holding hands
was the most we could do, while listening to the rain and staring in awe at the city. The night
had fallen two hours ago and only made it more of a romance as he leaned over from the
driver's seat and kissed my cheek.

It was a light rain so it didn't last that long. Afterwards, the night was still young that I talked
him into turning on the parking lights and radio to a nice slow jazz station so we could dance.
His right hand at the small of my back, and my right holding his, I laid my head on his
shoulder and smiled. I could have fallen asleep against him, just dancing like that. I didn't care
if it had started raining again, or not. We lost all track of time until a clap of thunder woke us up.
