To Love is a Decision
I know the game, I know the story
Not every life can begin with �once upon a time�
But, just once, I wish I could rewrite my ending
Life is like that, forcing me to face what may come
And I might not always like the way the story goes
Everything happens for a reason
Everything has its place
I can�t always look behind me
I can�t always sit things out
Just because I am scared of how things might wind up
To embrace the present is to face the past
To embark on the future is to learn and grow
Never give up on myself, never doubt myself
Because that�s the way life is
And it�s written the way it should be
For God wrote it long ago
Know I am strong
Know I can go on
Know I am worthy
Because, no matter what
I can always start another chapter in my storybook. |
