Shocked and mortified, the man and woman gathered 
leaves and wove them together with twigs to cover 
themselves as best they could. They could no longer look 
one another in the eye, and they did not know what else 
to do.

After the sun set, they heard the voice of the Supreme 
Being as he walked  through the garden, calling out to 
Adam.

"We can not let  him see us!" The woman shooked with
fear.

"Quickly, "  Adam said. "Let's hide!"

"ADAM!" The  Supreme Being was already behind them, 
the leaves of the nearby trees shaking  from his applified 
voice. 

"WHY ARE YOU HIDING FROM ME?"

"I am naked and I am very ashamed, " answered Adam 
as he and the woman continue to cowered in the thickets.

"WHO TOLD YOU THAT YOU WERE NAKED?"

"Huh?" Adam knew that he was in trouble and without 
thinking of what he was saying, he pointed accusingly at 
the woman.

"It was her!" He spoke quickly. "She gave me the fruit that 
you commanded us not to eat!"

The woman was surprised by what Adam had said!

"IS THIS TRUE?"

She stammered for a moment, trying to get her wits, still 
stunned  by Adam's disloyal accusation.

"My Lord,"  she was finally able to say, " it was the...the 
serpent! The serpent MADE me eat the fruit!"

There, the woman thought, now the serpent will be the 
one punished!

But, the woman was wrong.

The Supreme Being clothed them in animal skin and sent 
them out of the garden. He placed a huge heavy locked 
gate in the front of the garden, and a Cherubin with a 
flaming sword to guard the way to the Tree of Life.

"BEHOLD, MAN HAS BECOME AS ONE OF US, KNOWING 
GOOD AND EVIL! WHAT'S NEXT? EATING FROM THE TREE      
OF LIFE AND LIVING FOREVER? NO! THAT SHALL NEVER 
HAPPEN!"

Adam and the woman cried hysterically at the gate of the 
garden, begging for forgiveness.

"ADAM, BECAUSE YOU LISTEN TO THE WOMAN, YOU
HAVE CONDEMNED ALL OF MANKIND TO A LIFE FULL OF 
TROUBLE  AND SORROW...


...BY THE SWEAT OF YOUR BROW SHALL YOU EAT, AND I 
HAVE CURSED THE GROUND FOR YOUR SAKE TO BRING 
THISTLES AND THORNS TO HINDER YOU!"

Then, the Supreme Being addressed the woman:
     
"I HAVE GREATLY MULTIPLIED YOUR PAIN IN 
CONCEPTION, AND IN PAIN YOU SHALL  BRING FORTH 
CHILDREN! YOU BELONG TO YOUR HUSBAND NOW, AND 
HE SHALL RULE OVER  YOU!"

And as the Man and  his woman ran from the gate, tears 
bitterly burning their eyes so that they could not see, 
holding on to each other for what little comfort they could      
give each other as they stumbled forward, they heard 
these last words from their creator:

"I HAVE TAKEN  YOU BOTH FROM THE DUST, AND TO THE 
DUST YOU SHALL RETURN!"

From then on, Adam called his wife Eve, for she is the 
mother of all living.

And Adam and Eve wandered  further away from Garden 
of Eden into Gaia to till the ground from where they     
 had been taken.


In the meantime, Crystal had returned to the safety of the 
Fae camp.

She acted innocent, as if nothing had happened, 
forgetting to even bring her sisters and their families 
together for the big announcement of the coming of Man, 
as was her practice and as she had promised.

Instead, she continued to play the loving aunt to her 
nieces and nephews; especially to a small group of young 
Fae who thought their Auntie Crystal was the greatest 
person in all of Gaia. They would sit with her for hours 
listening to her teachings while they practiced the new 
"tricks" she taught them now and then.

Funny how no one noticed that these little ones were 
slowly showing signs of Becoming.


Nor did anyone notice the special trees growing in
Crystal's private planters.
