The Sims Of The New World--Epilogue

        Well, you see, one of the mistakes Crystal made that day 
was asking the Orange Fae to judge Marigold when they were 
the very ones who spent the most time with the men.  The Blue 
Fae and the ones Becoming were always off somewhere else, 
or too disciplined to allow the flirtatious men to sway them away 
from the chore at hand for very long.  In addition, couple of them, 
like Crystal, just wasn't  interested, preferring to spend time 
practicing new ways to use  their new acquired gifts instead of 
spending time looking into a male's enchanting blue eyes.  So, it 
seems, being the weakest also made the Orange Fae more 
vulnerable to the men's own special "magic".

       And now that the Tribunal had found nothing wrong with a 
male and female spending time together, the women easily 
agreed to join a man when he invited her to take a moonlight 
stroll.  And taking the cue from Dex, the men also knew how 
to threat a Fae and didn't  try any sudden movements until 
the female was really ready.

       And before you knew it, five males had truly fallen in love 
with five females.  And the five females returned their devotion, 
each declaring their undying love for one another.  The five pairs 
found their own place on Gaia, just close enough to the main 
camp,  where they could be alone with the one they loved.

      It wasn't long before all of the mated Orange Fae 
became a very happy mother-to-be, the proud father 
passing out the wrapped herb at each birth, the 
females always pitching in to help.   

       The families began to worked together as 
individual units, but no one forgot about the main 
Fae camp, as Crystal said would happen.   It 
became the center of all of their group activities, 
a place to come together to share ideas and make
decision; they would pray together at the Shrine, 
continuing to tend the orchards and the crops, 
building walkways, keeping Gaia neat and pretty.  

       The Fae had actually created the first extended
community.

      And the Blue Fae?  Well, there were now nine; the five, as the Goddess predicted, had completed their 
transformation.  A few took on a new look to go with their shimmering new blue wings, every one taking 
a new name to go with the new persona: Goldie was now known as Bluebell, Aurora as Sky, Allure as 
Prussia, Tawny as Babie, and Lema was now called Oceane. 

       The Blue Fae became more and more 
disinterested in the comings and goings of 
their Orange sisters, barely acknowledging 
the men and the children.  Instead, they 
kept to themselves, gathering the special 
dust that helped give them their powers, 
practicing their magic as they created more 
and more interesting objects, their ability to 
control the wild creatures of Gaia increasing, 
and each becoming stronger and stronger.  
Especially Crystal who, for now, left her 
sisters and their families alone.

       And as each family grew, the two mated Fae working 
together for the benefit of their family in their individual 
camps, each family working together for the benefit of their 
race, the old ways were slowly deteriorating.

       Crystal could see this, but she could no longer deny 
that the Fae children were a good thing.  After all, the
children were their future.  They  secured the Fae's 
place on Gaia.  Yet, as she attended the celebration of 
each new child, being the good, loving aunt,
she couldn't help but  wonder how long she was going      
to let this continue.
   
       As for Marigold and Dex, the two who started all of
this, they never let the other forget how much they were 
in love.
