Chapter Six
Little Jazz Isn't So Dumb
Introduction

Hello, everyone.  It's time for me to  continue tales of
The Sims of the New World.  If you have missed the last stories and don't know what has already  happened, no problem.  Simply click HERE to go toThe FantaSim Tales Archive.
It's been a long time since I last saw you.  Did you miss me? Well, I've certainly have missed you!

I hope you all have  been well since your last visit.

Myself?  Well, as your storyteller I have been busy talking to my friends, listening, asking questions and taking notes so that I can continue their tale.

Jaedan, the Elf Elder, was so gracious to share with you the beginning, the One Truth, in his own words:  How the Fae, the Foel and the NeoFae came to be was revealed for the first time.   Now, I will continue to tell you other stories for your enjoyment, and you will learn more about these wonderful beings and the humans who later became their friends.

Sistergirl, storyteller
Jaedan has come to thrust me and he has given me permission to tell you the stories the way I think you would enjoy them the most.  So, I may embellish a "little", but I convinced him that is what story tellers are expected to do...and he believe me!  But you CAN  believe me when I say, every word in these tales are  the true, just told my way.

Also, during my lastest visit, Jaedan introduced me to several pixies and elves, including an elusive Forest and a Dark Elf.  I was extremely lucky to meet and interview a few older worker faer-ees as well.  However, my greatest achievement came in my last few days with the Children.  After much pleading,  groveling, and running a lot of petty errands, Jaedan finally used his connections with the Be-nigh and I was granted an audience with The Great Queen herself.

I can tell you this story from two points of view because The Great Queen was willing to tell me the Fae's side.  After all, she was there.

Also, remember, Jaedan came into the world as a child.  He was wise beyond the years of any human child of the same age, but still a child.  Therefore, he needed the love and guidance of an adult.  So,  JyM gave him Jaida for his mother, and his father was Greer.

There were two other adult NeoFae,  Emeralda and Gren, and Greenley was their young daughter.   Jaedan and Greenley were intended to be each other's mate when they became of age.  You see, the Goddess JyM, in her wisdom, felt that four adult and two children were the right number and age of NeoFae to begin a new generation of creatures on Gaia.  They had the ability to have children, and, therefore, this should help create a necessary balance between themselves, the Fae, and the The Supreme Being's creations.

This is a good time to take a little break.  I'll tell you the story of how Jazz out smarted Crystal when I continue this story.

Jaedan was known as Jazz at this time, his true given name only known by the goddess.   If you were able to look deep into Jazz's eyes, you could see the soul of the Elf he was to be.

He did not act like a child, silently recording all that he observed, questioning the Fae's decisions more than his elders, preference towards studying the world around him  than playing;but,  since no Fae had ever seen a child before, they did not know that this was not  normal behavior.

Greenley, on the other hand, was giddy, preferred to skip everywhere she went, asked a thousand senseless questions, always wanted to show off when she learned something new, told ridiculous jokes, and would rather run around tagging Jazz and forcing him to play with her than take anything seriously.  Not to mention that she always seemed to be in the adult's  way.

The Fae found this to be very annoying.  They began to wonder if maybe they should reconsider raising children of their own if Greenley was an example of what little girls were like.

The Great Queen is the official blessed leader of the Bea-nigh, a small group of the most powerful creatures on Earth who live on the top of the mountain on the Island of JyM. She is the oldest living of JyM's children and she can leave to pass on to the next faer-ee existence whenever she chooses.  But, it seems she prefers to stay here on Earth.

And she is absolutely beautiful!  Actually, the word beautiful does not do her justice. I have no words to describe her magnificence!  Even my camera couldn't catch the brilliance and loveliness of this winged lady.

Believe it or not, you have already met her in previous tales for she is one of the first born of JyM's daughters, one of the first to Become.

Who is she, you ask?  Whoa, now! Let's not get ahead of the story.  You will find out in due time.

For now, let me tell you the story of the first few days of the  NeoFae's existence on Earth.
