Our house! We are at the end of the street, overlooking all the other houses. |

This is the living room as it was when we bought the house. Not bad, but I wasn't crazy about the caramel-colored walls. |

This is the "before" picture of the room that became my sewing room. It was originally a little girl's bedroom. |

This is the living room after a few coats of sage green paint. I love how fresh and crisp it looks now. |

This is the sewing room after, or at least part of it. Joe made the shelf for me, and I did the stencilling. |

Curtains in the sewing room - made from a couple of silk chiffon sarongs. I usually keep them tied back with dark pink silk ribbon. |

I don't have a "before" picture for this one. This is a detail from the half bath, which I painted dark purple and stencilled with silver fleur de lys. |

Nov. 26, 2004. At long last, we have a real dining room! Joe finished the chair rail, and I finally decided on window treatments. I sewed the valance, and bought gold sheers to go at the corners. |
