| Vegetables and herbs - 2004 to 2005 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This is my vegetable garden. In the spring of 2004, I built a 14' x 14' raised bed from cement blocks, filled it with topsoil, and turned the space between the veggie bed and the deck into an herb patch edged with bricks. In the vegetable garden: tomatoes, corn, lima beans, green beans, blackeyed peas, strawberries, onions, peppers, sunflowers, and watermelons. In the herb patch: Two kinds of lavender, dill, chives, two kinds of rosemary, garlic, basil, Mexican tarragon, thyme, lemon thyme, lemon verbena, chamomile, cilantro, and nasturtiums. |
