Shambles the Dog

The beautiful dog in the bottom two pictures is my friend Stella Blue. She is a pitbull but thinks she's a pussycat. Please don't discount a dog because of its breed! She loves everyone and everything she meets. If you visit her at home, she'll get out every toy she owns so you can inspect it. She lives with her family in Jamaica Plain, MA.
Both of these wonderful dogs were adopted from local animal shelters, and I think if you ask either dog's mommy, she'll say it's the best thing she's ever done. Why don't you adopt a dog, too?

Shambles came from the Milton Animal League in Milton, MA

Stella came from the MSPCA in Jamaica Plain, MA.

Name: Captain Shambles Underpants, which he much prefers to Pepper, the name he had when we got him. He never even turned his head when we called him until we gave him a decent name.
Breed: Jack Russell terrier and Cairn terrier mix.
Age: Almost 11! (October 4th, presents, presents)
Disposition: Uneven, at best, unless he knows you. Then he is a fool.
Likes: Wading in the ocean, ham, chasing cats, barking at everything that moves, big men, eating bugs, shoveling snow with his face, and wearing gaudy sweaters.
Dislikes: Dogs, cats, animals in general, getting his nails cut, and having to behave.
Favorite Pastimes: Playing "piggy-in-the-pillows" (snorting and shoving pillows off the bed with his face) and "you scratch my butt and I grunt" (self explanatory).
