| Close Encounters on the Playground By AudreyHorne |
| ...Continued Lunch Time..... Blowfish, Suzanne, and Audrey were sitting under the old oak tree in the playground, eating their lunches. Suzanne suggested that it was such a nice day outdoors that they should eat outside. Actually, Suz was more worried about running into Strawberry in the cafeteria, but she didn't tell them that. Across the playground, Titbaby was several feet under, digging in her hole. Today, however, she wasn't alone. Nerd boy ScubaSteve was down in the hole with her, helping with the dig. "Audrey, you're editor of the paper now. Do you know why she's digging that damn thing?" Blowfish asked. "I haven't a clue," Audrey answered, "She's keeping it as top secret as Aqua is keeping his hair snipping project. I don't know what's wrong with this school." "Oh, which reminds me," Suz added, "I met Kedra at the coffee house yesterday. She says there's little people living in the walls of our school." Blowfish blew milk out his nose. "She said what?" he exclaimed. "Little people living in the walls. I kid you not." Audrey laughed. "She's crazy." "Well, you think the schools haunted," Suzanne retorted, "but with all the things going on lately I'd believe anything. How is SweetOne doing?" "She's fine. Just resting mostly." Audrey lied. She didn't want to be the one to tell them about Sweet's pregnancy. Audrey felt that if Sweet wanted anyone to know that she would tell them herself. Audrey wasn't about to start any rumors or gossip about her. "HEY GUYS!" The trio swung their heads around. Strawberry was running toward them. Suzanne's heart sank. "Guess what I just heard?" Strawberry asked, catching her breath. "WE DON'T CARE!" Suzanne shouted. Blowfish held Suzanne's hand tight. "What do you want, Berry?" Strawberry handed him a piece of paper. "Chuckkkkky was handing these out to everyone in the cafeteria. It's about Suz." Suz snatched the paper from Blowfish's hand. On the paper was a picture of Suzanne. The text read: Suzanne is a liar and a poser. She pretends to be a respectable student and a nice girl. She is neither. Some valuable information has come to light. Did you know that when Suzanne was a student at Benjiman Franklin that she was suspended from school because she was dealing drugs? The police found herion in her desk. HERION! Is this the type of person we want running our school? A drug dealer? I think not. We cannot trust a junkie. It's time to take out the trash. Vote Chuckkkkky for class president. Suzanne couldn't believe her eyes. "So you were a drug dealer?" Strawberry smirked. "No, I wasn't!" Suz yelled, racing after Strawberry. Luckily, Blowfish held her back. "She was cleared of all charges," Audrey said, "In fact, she even helped capture the real drug dealer. Suz was a hero." "Whatever," Strawberry spat, and headed back to the cafeteria. "We can't let Chuckkkkky get away with this," Blowfish said, ripping up the paper. "We have to get the real story out there TODAY. Go spread the word. Audrey, can you make out some fliers?" "Can do." Suz smiled and said, "C'mon, lunch isn't over for another twenty minutes. Let's go work damage control." The trio marched toward the cafeteria. Later..... Somewhere in the city, Tiama sat near a telephone waiting for it to ring. While he waited, he thought of only one thing.... TheDeuce. He imagined the millions of different ways that he could torture him, mame him, slice him, dice him, cut him, choke him, hit him, bash him, slam his head against a wall. TheDeuce's screams would be a glorious chorus to his ears. Tima wanted him to suffer as much as he had suffered in that horrible jail cell. The telephone rang. Tiama smiled. He picked up the receiver. "I knew you'd call." "So, when do we do this?" came a muffled voice on the other end. "Tomorrow night, as I said. You will bring him to the location we had discussed?" "Yeah, I can get him to the graveyard." "Good, very good," Tiama cheered. "You bring him to the grave yard tomorrow night and I promise you that you'll have control of the gang once again." "Ok you got a deal," Axlotl replied, and hung up the phone. Tiama laughed silently to himself. Tomorrow TheDeuce would experience the same suffering that he had. Tomorrow TheDeuce would die. |
