| My Review of SockPuppet's Review By AudreyHorne |
| Sock Puppet's review once appeared here, but she contacted me (via her lawyers) and threatened to sue if I didn't take it down. I don't think something someone posted on a board is copyrighted, but oh well. So, this is my review of Sock Puppet's review....... She began by saying,"Overall, the writing is weak and embarassingly in need of copy editing." This may be true. I never said I my writing is the greatest. All of Murder on the Playground was written while I was at work. I often tried to make it better, but with everyone always asking "When's the next part coming out?" I never had much time for rewrites. My writing may lack in some areas, but that hasn't stopped anyone from reading my work. Maybe Sock should spend more time writing her own material instead of wasting words on insults and flame wars. She then goes on to say,"The "joke" about The Granny breaking her hip is in especially poor taste, considering what she's really going through. Other material included in the "diary" section appears to be libelous." Excuse me, but I know The Granny. She a Sissy Survivor. I know she's having a horrible time dealing with breast cancer. I was hoping it would make her laugh. I mean, her screen name is The Granny. Isn't falling down a flight of stairs what happens to little old ladies in comedy movies? If The Granny doesn't have a problem with it, no one else should. And for being "libelous". Hello, everyone knows it's all made up. My diary is meant to be like my Gossip Reports at www.sissyfightnews.com It's not supposed to be taken too seriously. The final part of her review isn't much of a review but a personal attack. "I hope the author isn't foolish enough to have dreams of selling some of his writing some day (rather than self-publishing online). I can envision editors passing his work around editorial offices to make fun of it before mailing it back with a form rejection letter." Who's to say I haven't already been published. Sock doesn't know a damn thing about me. So, I'll have to give a bad review to her bad review. Sock could be a good writer if she focused her engery into something more productive. I'd be more than willing to allow her to write a part of Close Encounters of the Playground. I wouldn't mind seeing how it might turn out. However, if she can't change her ways and start doing something more beneficial for the community, instead of critizng others and screaming her opinions, then I wish she'd disappear, just like Dawn did.
