| Part Three: Sex, Lies, and Notebook Paper "What the hell are you doing here?" Suzanne was speechless. Ms. Crabtree had barged into the classroom, turned on the light and discovered Suzanne, who clung to the crumpled note. I'm going to jail for breaking and entering, she thought to herself. "I... I..," Suzanne stammered, searching for the words, "I found this." Suz held the note out to Ms.Crabtree. "What is this?" Crabtree asked. "The letter Blowfish wrote to the new kid." Blowfish is in a coma." Hill told them about staking out Blowfish's house and finding the lollipop wrappers and the diary. He told them about the escape attempt and the gunfire. Hill hoped he wasn't scaring Suzanne with the details. Suzanne wasn't scared, though. She was tough. She was the leader of The Girl Gang and the most popular girl in school. A little blood and guts didn't frighten her. However, she did have Silent Bob walk her home. Well, it was getting dark outside.... |
