First of all, make sure you will not be disturbed for at least half an hour, and you are in a place that is warm and comfortable enough for you. Sit or lie comfortably, and breathe deeply. As you inhale, imagine golden sparkles of love, peace, happiness, and positive energies filling your body, and as you exhale, imagine black smoke of hate, anger, positive energies, coming out of your body. Now, starting with your feet, tense your feet muscles, and relax them. Can you feel all of your feet muscles relaxed? if not, continue the tensing until your feet muscles all feel relaxed. Next, move onto your legs, tensing and relaxing, working through your body slowly. Feet, legs, thighs and hips, abdominal, chest, arms, hands, shoulders, neck, and finally, your face. When you feel fully relaxed, move onto the Countdown. Visualise a large number 7, vibrantly coloured red. keep the picture in your mind for 10 seconds, then let it fade. Next visualize a large number 6, vibrantly coloured with orange. Keep the picture in your mind for 10 seconds, then let it fade away. Carry on right to number one, each with a beautifull vibrant colour. The colours are: 7-red 6-orange 5-yellow 4-green 3-blue 2-indigo 1-purple. When you approach number one, let it fade,then you have reached meditation-alpha state. Now you can start you reason for meditation. here are some examples. Crystal cleansing, Healing, Protection, Getting in tune with the elements, and lots more. Now, once you have finished your meditating, dont just open you eyes, start the rainbow count again, starting from one, up to seven, slowly. As you count, slowly feel yourself shifting from this state back to conciousness. Dont forget the colours!!! |
