Full Moon Ritual
Altar Equipment:
Candles: Silver and White
Crystals: Moonstone and Quartz crystal
Herbs: Willow, MoonWort, Hawthorn
Other Tools: Cauldron, Silver, and Full Moon water, or a Quartx crystal sphere
Decorations: Silver, Cresent Moons, Lunar symbols, white flowers
Ritual
Set up the altar, Light the candles, insence and cast the circle. Stand before the altar and invoke the Goddess and God.
Now gaze at the moon if its possible. If not, just visualize.
Feel its glowing energy soaking into your body.
Feel its cool, Goddess energy fill you with power and love.
Now say this or words of your own:
Beautiful Goddess of the Moon,
Mistress of the night and all Magick,
The Queen who welcomes the dusk with her silvery kisses,
She who is the maiden, young, strong and powerful Hunter,
The Mother of all that is Earth and all living beings.
The Crone of Death and wintry nights.
O Lunar Queen,
Mistress of the mysterious skies
Shadow maker, shadow breaker,
Wise mother of mysteries past and present,
I greet your celestial jewel
At the waxing of your powers, at the peak of your strength,
With a rite in your honour.
I pray by the moon.
I pray by the moon.
I pray by the moon
I pray by the moon.
Continue to chant I pray by the moon for as long as you wish. Visualize the goddess.
You may already have a personal outlook of the Goddess, but if you want an example:
You could see her as a strong, beautiful woman with silvery white hair, sparkling, laughing eyes and draped delicate clothing that sparkles with the silver jewels. She wears a cresent moon upon her head and she carries a glowing with orb between her hands. She walks the Starfield of Eternal-Light with her lover, The Sun God, spreading Moonrays wherever she goes.
Now is the time for magick of all kinds, as the Full Moon is at the peak of its power.
All positive spells are more powerful when cast now.
It is also a good time to do meditation, mirror magick, and psychic workings.
If you have a crystal ball made of quartz crystal, you can do crystal scrying. If you dont, you can use your cauldron filled with Full moon water, or spring water. Full moon water is made in a special way, heres a recipe. You place some silver into the cauldren filled with water and you gaze at the water or at the moon ginting off the silver, which will awaken your psychic awareness.
Lunar Feast: Cresent cakes are a Traditional feast.
Lunar Liquids: Milk, White wine, Lemonade.
Thank the Goddess and God and release the circle.
