CRYSTALS

Crystals are well know for their healing properties, and are exellent helpers while working magick. Now, to feel the energy of a crystal is great, and  generally making energy is convenient in Magick. To feel the energy of a crystal, try this exercise:
Place your selected crystal on a flat surface. Table, floor, ect. Relax and breathe deeply.
Place you left hand (right hand if you're left handed) closely to the crystal, make sure its not touching it, just as close as you can get. Now, close your eyes and move your conciousness to your hand. Forget the other parts of your body, just concetrate on the hand.
What do you feel? coldness, hotness? tingling? well, thats the crystals energy!

Here are just a few crystals and their properties.

Amber -  Clear yellow or orange. Electromagnetic. opens solar plexus chakra for mental clarity, moods balance, confidence. Aligns mental and emotional bodies. Exellent detoxification and protection from radiation, sun, computers, and more!

Azurite -  Deep blue, blue -purple. Activates brow and throat chakras.  Psychicness, reduces depression, skin cleansing, reduces depression, stimulates thyroid, sinus. Deep access to sub- concious.

Amethyst -  Transluscent purple-lavendar, Used for psychicness, mind quieting, and imagery. Wear to reduce anger, impatience, and nightmares. used for brow and crown chakras. Good for headaches, eyes, hair, bloodsugar balance. Keep in pet's water to reduce fleas.

Bloodstone - Solid dark green with red flecks.Used to calm, revitalize and ground. Great for wealth, anemia, menstrual cramps, hemarroids, blootclots, imbalance, birthing/reproductivity,Cleansing heart and blood circulation, thymus, marrow, heart, lungs.

Carnelian - Milky yellow, peach, green, white, or clear.  Green: tranquility, soothes spiritual heart. Clarifies visions. Yellow:Detoxification of kidneys, pancreas, spleen. Clear:Clearer vision and communication, general cleansing wellness.

Citrine -  Clear yellow quartz. Mental and emotional clarity. Memory, problem solving, For solar plexus. For willpower, memory, confidence, optimism, self-disipline, digestion. Reduces anxiety, depression, fear, food disorders, stomach tension, allergies. Detox of kidneys, spleen, urinary system, intestines.

Flourite -  Rainbow colours. Important healer and balancer. Opens heart and throat chakras.

Gold -  Brilliant all-purpose, high level gem amplifier, especially on the solar plexus and heart chakras. stregnthens nervous system, digestion. Often worn by teachers/healers. Positively charged with warmed sun energy. Attracts prosperity, lovingness, warmth and spirituality.

Haematite -  Silver/grey metallic. One of the most grounding stone of all. condenses fuzziness, scatteredness,. Good for concentration, memory, practicality, helps study, detailed work, book-keeping, sound sleep. confidence, will-power, boldness. Good blood cleanser.

Jade -  Green (solid colour to transluscent).  Wealth, health, longevity stone. Used for courage,  justice wisdom, mercy, stamina, emotional balance, love, humility, fidelity, peace, harmony, generosity, lungs, heart, thymus, immune, kidney and blood detox.

Lapis Lazuli -  Known as the midnight sky stone. Blue with speckles of gold.Used for meditation, opens brow chakra, helps with higher guidence, connection to higher self, intuition, Opens throat chakra, writing, self overview, decisions for good of all. quiets mind.

Jasper -  Chalcedony. Multicoloured. Yellow for stomach, liver, intestines and spleen. Green for general tissue regeneration, general healing Darker colours for grounding.

Moonstone - Transluscent with white, yellow, pink, sheen. Soothes stress, womens menstruation imbalance. Enhances intuitive sensitivity, Connects 2nd and 6th chakras. Emotional balance, flexability and flow with life.

Obsidian -  Black to smoky. Absorbs and dissolves anger, fear, critisism. Protective. Reduces escapism and fantasy. Grounding.

Onyx -  Balances and grounds. Cant contain or retain healing energy. Absorbs and flattens emotional intensity.

Quartz -   Rose: Love, beauty, forgiving, peacefulness, emotional balance, self-love. Soothes and warms heart centre. Slowly eases childhood trauma. (Cleanse and recharge often) Clear: Opens crown chakra. Good for meditation, clairvoyance, telepathy, stimulates immunity, strength, blue corona, dreams, imagery. Smoky: Powerfully opens the crown chakra. Induces alpha/deep meditation. Aleviates fear, anxiety, emotional sickness, depression,etc. Very grounding.

Silver - Exellent for emotional, mental, and physical cleansing and releasing. Works on mind, emotions to see overview. Like the moon's enegy, it has a gentle, cool, soothing effect. Works with pituitary and upper centres.  Wear the metal so you feel attracted to.
