Circle Casting

Remove all animals and small children from the area.

Set up your altar before you cast your circle.

Find Magnetic North on your compass and holding your athame or wand away from your body and visualise your energy streaming out of the athame/wand, see your energy, bright and vibrant.

Visualize the tip of the athame/wand creating a circle of energy and light as you walk clockwise three times around the area. The circumferance created by the athame/wand will be the edge of your circle.  Project a white light out from your athame/wand to create the circle as geometrically perfect & say to yourself that thats what it is.

Walk the circle the second time around and say:
"I create sacred space, so mote it be."

Invoke the four Elements and directions and the powers that reside in them by using the athame/wand, or sword, or staff or even your index finger and draw an invoking pentagram in the air as you face each direction. Use a ritual of invocation of write of yourself.

To open the circle, hold the athame/wand over the edge of the circle starting at Magnetic North, walk once around the circle counterclockwise and visualise the energy absorbing back into you tool and back into yourself as you say:
"May the circle be open, but not unbroken. Merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again!"
