PANASONIC X70
|
Positioned as the compact version of the current GD87, Panasonic’s X70 model comes in a neat little package which aims to further satisfy our needs with a string of improvements and new features. What made the GD87 different from the other GSM clamshells out there in the market was its unique sizing. The slightly-longer length meant that holding this phone required a bit of getting-use-to. But the X70 will have 11mm taken off its length, which hopefully should make it easier to hold. A new, sleek external LCD display has been implemented which displays an analogue clock face while the phone is on standby. Similar to the GD87, it will display other relevant information where appropriate (for example - missed calls, awaiting messages, etc). On the inside, a 65,535-colour TFT LCD and integrated digital camera are just two of the features on the new X70. The large 132x176 displays images and graphics with the utmost clarity, irrespective of whether it’s a picture taken with the integrated digital camera or simply one received in an MMS message. Java™ application compatibility is also another new feature of the X70 which allows the running of third-party applications directly from the handset. You can coonect to your PC via either data cable, or wirelessly through infrared or Bluetooth™. Please note that an Orange 'Just Talk' Pay As You Go handset will be provided.
