Sisay

Sisay is a tall teenager, with curly black hair reaching down her shoulders. It flutters wildly in the breeze, giving her a rebel look. Her eyes are obsidian black and seem to radiate inner awareness and strength. Her body is very well built, generous forms with an athletic look. Although she might not be considered a classical beauty, her cute face, tiny nose and full, sensual lips make many viewers' eyes linger, or return for a stolen second glance.

She wears a scarlet sleeveless tunic with dozens of tiny silver and purpl She wears a scarlet sleeveless tunic with dozens of tiny silver and purple dragonflies - insignia of House Ginaz - painstakingly embroided in metallic threads about he neck and shoulders. A broad red belt is tightened around her waist. You think you notice a dagger underneath it. Sisay form-fitting, buttercup-yellow pants of lightly textured silk which meet high wolfskin boots of exquisite quality

Slivon

You see a tall, muscular man bearing the House Ginaz sign. By the looks of it he is a guard of some kind. You see 3 pips on his revere, indicating he is of the rank of Captain. He seems to notice that you are looking at him and you notice he has dark-brown eyes that fit his dark, curly hair perfectly. Along side of both sides of his nose run 2 scars, seemingly the result of being captive somewhere. It is obvious that this man has been working out, as his muscles are clearly visible trough the uniform.

He wears a black and purpl He wears a black and purple Ginaz Guard uniform from only the best quality fabrics found on Marcinko only. It has a golden bandelier on front indicating that he is a person who should be treated with respect at all times. There are two small medals attached to the piece of clothing covering his heart, mainly placed there as ornament, although rumors go that he used them to catch a laser ray once.

You can see that he is carrying several items with him including a belt with the standard issue Holtzman Shield Generator, a small lasgun and a short sword for close combat situations attached to it. In his pockets are some Solaris, a pen and a few pieces of paper, but you can't see those of course

----------

A young lady enters the Lounge, with a guard in tow. A happy mien on her face radiates a joyfull state of mind. She walks in, completely lacking the grace of noble-born, maybe intentionally, maybe not. Her moves suggest military training aswell as... something else. The clothes just fit this rebel young girl. She climbs the bar and orders something. Turning around she motions her guard to approach: "Captain... do join me." the young lady says in a merry voice

Slivon walks up to the bar and orders some Caldan Spring Water for himself, as he his not allowed to drink alcoholics while on-duty. He takes a look around the lounge and sees various people walking around, some just sitting and talking when his eye falls on the lady in the corner. She looks about the same age as Sisay.on the lady in the corner. She looks about the same age as Sisay.

Somehow, the lady in the corner booth seems to spend quite some attention to abserving you two. Her eyes meet Slivon's for a moment, and she smiles ever so briefly, but friendly. Those amber eyes however stay focused for a short while before she seems to catch herself staring, and she lowers her eyes to inspect her tea-spoon.to catch herself staring, and she lowers her eyes to inspect her tea-spoon.

Sisay is seated in the leftmost part of the bar, with her back towards the wall of the Lounge. She quietly scans the almost empty Lounge and notices the robed lady. She studies her for a moment, her obsidian eyes glimmering in recognition for a moment. A Sister? Can it be? A Sister in the Lounge. Now that's a surprise

Elsa's eyes flick from the Captain to the young Lady, and catches her looking at her. She smiles warmly and rises, lifting her now empty cup of tea and gracefully walks towards the bar. She leaves het bags at the booth. You notice she is wearing a silver necklace of intricate design, with a pattern that may be descibed as a swirling vortex

Sisay watches silently as the woman approaches and says: "Umm... excuse me, Miss?" in a shy voice, curiosity shown all over her face. "Are you... do you happen to be... A Bene Gesserit?" One could notice the anxious and maybe nostalgic tone in her voice.

Elsa halts near you and speaks now in a warm, melodious voice "Indeed I am, my Lady." After a moment, she adds "Sister Elsa Cecilia Morante, my Lady. Pleased to make your aquaintance." She then places her cup on the bar

Sisay curtseys. "Lady Sisay Ginaz. The pleasure is all mine, I assure you." she says in a joyful voice. For a trained ear, one could notice a faint foreign accent in her voice, although her galach is perfect. "May I buy you another drink, Sister?"voice, although her galach is perfect.

Elsa smiles, and nods, briefly glancing at her empty cup. "Tea please, my Lady. It has been an exhausting afternoon, and I could well use another cup." Her eyes briefly glance in the direction of your guard. "I only have arrived on Kaitain a mere week ago, you must know. I have to get accustomed to your local fashion still", she adds as if to explain the shopping bags.

Sisay smiles and giggles. "Fashion? Who gives a dime on fashion... I might be weird, but fashion's not one of my hobbies. Although there are quite a few neat shops around." the lady explains. One could notice, in the lady's wearing that the exotic clothes are but a more feministic version of the Ginaz ranger's uniforms. A light, yet very functional suit for a life on mountains. Sisay orders two Marcinko root-teas and says: "Please... do join me

Elsa smiles briefly at your comment about fashion and seats herself on your right side. "When I would not have worn these robes, you wouldn't have spoken to me like I was a Sister. That's the point of what you wear." Leaving it at that, she smiles to herself for a moment. "Pray do tell me, Lady Sisay, how long have you been here in this city ? There's so much I haven't seen yet, and I am interested in your views on this busy place." She smiles warmly again. "Perhaps you could tell me what is worth a visit here ?"

Sisay narrows her eyelids a little at the fashion remark. In deed, one can recognize a Gesserit from a mile. However, she's right. Had she on normal dresses, the memories of Sister Diana would never have popped out, she would neve invited the Sister for a tea. Leaving her thoughts aside, she replies: "Why, it's been three months or so, Sister. And, you might be dissapointed about Kaitain, if I may say so. There is barely anything interesting except getting drunk, plotting against who-knows-what house or who-knows-which noble, dirthouse or who-knows-which noble, dirty-talk. And it all comes in a shiny package. " She pouts, as dark memories flood her mind, the depressive tone of her voice telling more about her dissapointments of Kaitain. "I heard the mperor has an Imperial Reserve, a mighty park in which one can find a bit of peace." A deep sigh escapes the lady's chest. The teas are served along with a tray cntaining sugar, milk and lemon extract

Elsa nods slowly. "I find the best way to 'get away from it all ' for me is myself. Peace of mind allows my own self to be a place of...refuge, as it were. Somewhere to retreat to, wherever I may be." She notices your mood, and halts there, not willing, for now, to cross that border any further. Instead, she smells the tea and smiles. "What a curious smell this tea has...I have to try this." She does not use any suger or milk, and tries the tea. She frowns a little as she tastes it, and then smiles. "A wonderful surprise, this. "

Sisay grabs her cup aswell and adds her usual two spoons of sugar. She nods and comments: "It has a bitterly taste indeed. But the aroma is really amazing... It's supposed to have many vitamins and the like." She smiles shyly and continues: "The genuine root-tea is made of a selection of weed and bush roots. This one, is made from three root extracts." She beams proudly and adds: "You should come visit us at the embassy, and be treated with the real thing." Sipping quietly for some moments, the Lady seems to enjoy the soul-soothinthe Lady seems to enjoy the soul-soothing effect of the tea. Then she adds: "You know, I am supposed to get a Bene Gesserit tutor. Have you met any of the teachers here

Elsa interestedly listens at the explaination of the tea, and smiles. "I'd love to visit one day soon" she says merrily. "I look forward to your famous tea." She seems a little surprised at your mentioning of a tutor, and nods. "I have met various Sisters who could take such a task upon themselves indeed. How, if I may ask, do you feel about getting a tutor ?"

Fahahd patters in, for once clad not in his uniform, but plain civilian clothes.

Sisay rolls her eyes to the ceiling and puts the cup on the bar. She turns to face the Sister and shakes her head, her long curly hair ruffling. "I made a promise to my uncle. That's why I'd accept one. But... but... a tutor! God save me, what need do I have for a tutor? And... with all due respect and consideration towards the Sisters, I think me and the Bene Gesserit have very little in common..." she sighs, her eyes mirroring her interior pressure and uncertainty. But as she speaks, she notices a man coming in. A faint trace of recognition... she tilts her head and exclaims: "Fahahd?"

Fahahd turns a mild gaze on the young Ginaz, blinking at her owlishly for a moment. But he breaks into a soft smile. "My lady, A pleasure to see you,"But he breaks into a soft smile.

Next to Sisay, on her right side, is a young woman in black robes enjoying a tea. She turns to see who the Lady is referring to, and looks the newly arrived Harkonnen over with a seemingly casual glance. She smiles softly at the man, and says nothing for now

Sisay raises from her seat to greet the Guard: "Why, triple the pleasure here, I assure." She smiles broadly as she looks Fahahd up and down. "My, are we good-lookin' off-duty." The lady giggles and takes the Harkonnen by the arm. "Come, let me introduce you to Sister... Elsa" she says, remembering the name in the last instant. "Sister, this is Fahahd, personal guard to Lady Ulricke Harkonnen and a good friend of mine."

Fahahd is blushing rosily at the young woman's coment, replying in a murmur, "My lady is far too kind. He blinks warily at the Bene Gesserit, but murmurs a polite greeting

Elsa raises and smiles to the guard, and bows her head ever so slightly. "Well met." she says politely. "We were just enjoying a tea. Would you do us the pleasure of joining us?" she asks matter-of-factly, as the question already seems to have been answered non-verbally. She now fixes her amber eyes on the guard for a moment, her eyes seemingly focussing just behind your own eyes.eyes seemingly focussing just behind your own eyes.

Fahahd nods quietly. "It would be an honor, my ladies," he replies, as he settles into an empty seat

Sisay hops back on her seat at the bar and clutches her cup of tea in her little hands, sipping. She says: "Fahahd, I thought you'd come and rescue me! You left me rot in that dungeon!" in a playful and merry tone, teasing Fahahd, knowing that word of her imprisonment must have spread out pretty quickly

Sisay pages: You might notice a faint tremble and maybe a frown... She really hates her Swordmistress...

Fahahd looks properly contrite. "But what could I do, my lady?" he offers, cheerfully, "with you guarded by all of those swordmasters.."

Elsa sips from her tea, her eyes not leaving the two friends, happy to follow the conversation for now.conversation for now.

Sisay nods and smiles bitterly: "Only one, my friend. Only one god-damn swordmistress." She frowns. "But anyway, how's Lady Ulricke doing? I hope everything is well?"

Fahahd nods quietly to this. "Yes, the lady is quite well," he affirms, before gesturing over a waiter to place an order for coffee. "Just one?" he ehcoes.

Sisay frowns again, a frown which really doesn't look good on her pretty face. "Considering that everyone else, including my Mentat thought she overreacted, you could say that I was arrested and kept by Solude guards and swordmistress, yes." One could notice the intonation of the words 'my mentat'... much love and respect...

Sisay rolls her eys to the ceiling. "To my imprisonment, of course..." She sips nervously from her cup and looks towards Elsa. She explains to her: "Yes, I have been house arested by our own swordmistress because... well... because I dared apreciating a ... friend of mine..." she glances at Fahahd and sips again from her cup

Fahahd notes, still very mildly, "I'm not sure I understand, my lady,"Fahahd notes, still very mildly, "I'm not sure I understand, my lady,"

Elsa eyes you and frowns slightly for a moment, seemingly picking something up from your words. "I see, yet I remain unaware of the reason of the swordmistress'...dislike of your friend."swordmistress'...dislike of your friend."

Sisay sighs deeply and explains, looking from Elsa to Fahahd: "I was visiting the Bajazet Embassy. An unofficial visit, mainly to their swordmaster Aleikum. Everything was marveillous, they treated me with all kinds of sweets and cookies and... it was just perfect. Untill this... this... concubine came in, mistook me for Alekum's mistress. Then we talked about i-don't-know-what quarrel between them and the Harkonnens. She said the were all animals or the like and I concurred with her, except for the Lady Ulricke and, of course, ouexcept for the Lady Ulricke and, of course, our Fahahd here present, whom I consider friends and pretty good ones too. Then the fluffy concubine fliped over and saked me to leave." She stops and drinks her tea to the bottom, visibly embarrased.

Fahahd's lips curl a little at the mention of the Bajazet. "Yes, it is quite a feud, though the two Houses are not currently in Kanly," he notes. "some sort of legal dispute, though, over Malarca Secundus."

Elsa nods and speaks "Now that ...concubine...certainly did not care to..how did you call it earlier...'wrap' her words in a 'shiny package'. I do not know this concubine, yet she seems not to ours, from what you say? " She adds, carefully. "Perhaps it is not advisable to argue with those whose motives are not known, especially when you are their guest ?" She finishes her tea, and looks at Sisay expectantly. Her warm smile stays on and could probably make a fellow Sister melt

Sisay opens her mouth to reply to Fahahd but she stops and turns to Elsa. "Now wait a minute. No one don;t argue with my friends, all right? So what can I do that I have a Harkonnen friend?" She breaks into a laughter. "And immagine I hate her brother to death!" She giggles and laughs, but finally gets hold of herself again. "So it's a bargain here? Don't mess with my whatever-secundus and I won't mess with your friends?"

Fahahd blinks. 'Her brother?" He's obviously not following this oever well.

Sisay looks at Fahahd curiously. "Umm... I assumed Lord Andrei is Lady Ulricke's brother

Fahahd nods, with a rather sheepish expression. "For some reason I thought you were referring to the Bajazet lady

Elsa 's smile definately gets a bit less warm now. Other than that, she seems not impressed with the answer you snapped at her. "The Bajazet may disapprove of your friends, my Lady, but you were well aware of that, of course." She glances at the bright guard, and then back at Sisay again. "Perhaps some subjects are better avoided to come up in the first place." She then smiles again. "But I am unaware of the circumstances, you must forgive me if I seem like ...tutoring you. That was not my intention. My intention was to have tea...want some more, my Lady, Sir ?

Fahahd nods eagerly. "Oh, yes, please," he replies, holding out his cup.

Sisay nods at the Sister and agrees: "In deed, I shouldn't have opened that discussion in the first place. Who'd have thought she'd be such a square-head." She snaps to the bartender in a boyish styile and asks for a tomato juice. "So, what's new at the Harkonnen embassy? I gather Lord Andrei is still alive?"

Fahahd's grin is just a touch sour at the mention of the Harkonnen heir. "Yes, my lady, to my knowledge he is still alive and well

Elsa accepts the cup the Harkonnen guard holds out to her and fills it with tea, and hands it back. After pouring herself some, she gestures at the sugar and milk on the bar for the guard, and remains silent for now

Fahahd drops a little sugar into the cup, but no milk.

Sisay raises her eyebrows just a little and says matter-of-factly "Well, there's always hope, isn't there." as she receives a long glass full of a reddish juice. She takes it in her hands and starts sipping from it.

Fahahd notes, in a soft drawl, "It's hardly my place to comment upon my lord Na-Baron," But he clearly has no love for the young heir

Elsa looks at Fafahd to see his reaction attentively, whilst letting her tea cool off a bit.

Elsa changes the subject and turns towards the guard "I have understood that this city lacks opportunities for distraction. What would you do, or where would you go, when looking for a place to relax, if I may ask ?"

Fahahd turns a wary eye on the Sister. "It depends on what one considers relaxing, my lady. There is a lovely Conservatory...theatre, museums, musical performances," He'll leave out the seedier side of Kaitain, of course.

Sisay sips from her juice quietly, curious what Fahahd might reply. The Sisters are in-deed great diplomats. I was just about to bein my triad of anti-Andrei curses. Oh well..

Elsa nods slowly "Yes, yes of course, I read all that in the highliner flyer. But I mean, where would /you/ go..the Conservancy

Fahahd's tone remains carefully neutral. "The Conservatory is lovely, and I have visited it, on occasion,"

Sisay looks at Fahahd from under her brow. She murmurs towards Elsa: "There are places for different tastes and for different needs. But tell me, I always thought the Sisters were very ... retreated, out of our world... isn't that true?"

Elsa silently looks at the wary guard for a brief moment, and then apparently decides to lose interest. "Thank you, I will have to take a look there myself one day." She politely replies before glancing at Sisay "It is true that we don't get out much, certainly, but there's only so many miles of parks to stroll through. I would enjoy a wide variety of entertainment, speaking for myself, in order to get to know the city. I will probably stay here for a long time, and it would not be wise to only learn the entertainment of ambassadors and diplomats, in my opinion

Sisay nods at the Sister and says: "In deed, you are very right, Sister. I'd invite you over on Marcinko. I'm sure you'd find Mount MacKenzie to be... quite entertaining..." she smil class=MsoNormal>Fahahd wonders, gently, "What is Marcinko like, my lady?"

Sisay giggles and andswers: "Marcinko, Fahahd, is an emerald. Green forests, high mountains, wildlife and such. It is still a wild place, in spite of human efforts to tame the land." She sips again from her juice. "It's my home

"Is it cold?" Fahd wonders, sipping from his tea

Sisay nods. "Yes, it is a cool world in winter season. And the polar regions are quite uninhabitable

Elsa nods at Sisay at her invitation to Mount KacKenzie. "A vast forest, I hear. I would love that. Who knows." She seems in thought for a moment, as if remembering something from her past. She smiles to herself briefly

Fahahd's smile is oddly wistful. "It sounds like giedi."Fahahd's smile is oddly wistful. "It sounds like giedi."

Sisay smiles and says: "And Marcinko is home of the most ferocious wolves. The dark-tooth wolves of MacKenzie. If one is not carefull enough where to camp, one might never wake up." She grins.

Fahahd simply looks intrigued, rather than frightened. "I'll bet it's wonderful hunting

Elsa smiles at Sisay's remark about wolves, and nods understandingly. She then glances about from the threesome's place at the bar and glances at the new arrivals curiously.

Sisay looks curiously at the newly arrived at the bar. Not an acquaintance. She turns back, facing her glass of juice. "How is Giedi Prime? I never heard anything about it

Fahahd's smile is wry. "Cold. Wild, a great deal of it. Harsh."

Elsa empties her cup of tea and glances to her right, where the tall Moritani man sits and observes him for a short while with amber eyes, nodding politely.

Martin accepts the mug from the bartender, sitting it on a napkin, before returning his attention back to the trio. "Good evening, My Lady," He says politely to the Bene Gesserit

Sisay nods a greeting towads the man at the bar. She looks at Fahahd and then at the Sister

Fahahd murmurs, "It might be somewhere you'd enjoy visiting."

Elsa smiles at Martin for a brief moment before looking back at Sisay.

Martin nods and turns back to mug, taking a drink from it.

Sisay nods at Fahahd and says: "I definitely enjoy challenges." She gazes back towards the Elsa and asks: "Where are you from, if I may ask

Elsa shifts on her stool slightly, but looks at the Lady "I have spent my youth on Wallach IX with my fellow Sisters, although that is not where I hail from originally. I was born on Garrashu, in fact. But that is ...in the past now. "She obviously does not wish to speak of her time on Garrashu, not in public, at least. "I have been living on Wallach IX until I was sent here.."

Fahahd wonders, softly, "IT is true that the sisters surrender all allegiance for their former houses?"

Elsa looks at you as if you have trespassed something. "Not all Sisters are born in Houses, Sir. I have always respected my family."

Fahahd regards the Bene Gesserit mildly. "But those that are effectively leave the House in question?" he wonders

Elsa answers neutrally "Most of my fellow Sisters enter our ranks at an early age. I suppose you could say that since they grow up with us, we are their family."

Elsa glanes over Fahahd shoulder in the Count's direction and nods a polite greeting in return

Fahahd cocks his head, curiously. "How do they choose that life? Or do their parents choose for them?"

Using Allgau, Elsaturns to Sisay for a moment, after nodding a polite excuse to Fahahd "I would love to discuss further about your and my world, Lady, but I would prefer to do so when there is a better...opportunity."

Using Allgau, Sisay says, "As you wish, Sister"

Fahahd waits patiently for the ladies to revert to Galach.

Elsa smiles at Fahahd amused: "You are being very inquisitive, Sir. Look at it as if you would be sent to a grandmother you never knew you had, but glad you do now you got to know her better

Fahahd shrugs. "I confess to curiosity, since I know very little about the sisterhood. Please forgive me if my questions seem prying

Elsa nods. "They do, and of course, you are forgiven. Curiosity has never been a bad trait."

Fahahd doesn't really look at all abashed, but nods politely.

Fahahd glances sidelong at the newcomer, though he busies himself pouring out more tea. "Shall order more, my ladies?" he wonders

Sisay sits at the bar, facing a half-full glass of tomato juice. Her mood shifts slightly to a more melancolic one as she fiddles with the glass. Her black, obsidian eyes seems to watch beyond the glass and beyond the Lounge

Fahahd murmurs to Sisay, "Is something wrong, my lady?"

Elsa seems a little distracted, observing Sisay for a moment, before looking sideways at Fahahd for a moment "No thank you, no more tea for me please."

Fahahd nods, and pours out another measure of tea for himself.

Sisay shakes her head, as if awakening from a dream. "N... No, not at all..." She forces a smile on her face and says: "I would be really curious to know when Sister Elsa visited Marcinko." her eyes narrow suddenly, glancing towards the Sister. She shifts slightly on her seat at the bar such as to face the Gesserit directly

Elsa looks not surprised at the Lady Ginaz. "I have never, my Lady. But I have studied your language on Wallach IX, where there was a fellow Sister who is a native speaker of your tongue."

Fahahd murmurs, "I suppose we'd best move over to make room." times like this that he wishes he were at the Modulee, instead.

raises to her feet and curtseys to those takeing posession of the bar.

Sisay says nothing, her gaze drifting around the Lounge. She notices the newly arrived and recognizes the Lord Viscount. Nah, somthing's fishy here. Allgau is difficult to learn, pretty difficult. And the pronounciation and the grammar were perfect. Who is this Sister and what does she want from me? The Ginaz Lady sighs deeply and beams a warm smile in a silent greeting towards the Alvstad company, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Siridar.

Fahahd nods absentedly, before rising to make the appropriate bow.

Pers seems a bit more focused on alcohol than protocol at the moment; he does, however, pause to offer Elsa a deep nod of respect, noting her Bene Gesserit robes carefully and with what would seem to be pleasure. He does catch Sisay's eyes as he eases himself onto a barstool, giving the Lady a tight smile.

Sisay takes another sip from her glass and says towards the Sister: "You never cease to amaze me." referring most probably to the Sisterhood as a whole. She gently touches the knee of the Harkonnen guard and murmurs: "Fahahd, since when do Harkonens acknowledge, let alone drink non alcoholic drinks, dear?"

Fahahd glances up in suprise as Deirdre enters, before Sisay's touch recalls his attention to her. He grins wryly at that. "We're not all drunker roisterers, my lady," he protests, gently. "And I am very fond of coffee

Elsa observes the Lady Ginaz. After a short while: "I startled you with the use of your tongue. I do apologize for this. However, I must excuse myself now, I am being expected back at the Chapterhouse. I hope to be able to see you again soon

Sisay's gaze follows Fahahd's and recognizes the newly arrived and stiffens her back, not knowing exactly how to react. However, the Sister's annoucement makes her turn again towards her. "It was a pleasure meeting you, Sister. If there is anything I can help you with, do not hesitate in contacting me at my embassy." Although friendly, the Ginaz girl's statement sounded a bit cold.

Sisay nods a gentle greeting towards the Harkonnen inister of Finance: "Lady Konrad, I am pleased to see you again

Elsa smiles and nods to Fahahd. "Stay curious, and well met." She then walks over to the booth in the corner to collect her shopping bags.the booth in the corner to collect her shopping bags.

Fahahd inclines his head in farewell to the Sister.

Elsa collects her shopping bags, a rather curious sight, and makes her way towards the exit. She nods to Martin, Pers, Marco, Sisay and Fahahd on her way out, struggling a bit in an attempt not to hit anyone with her bags
