A Tribute to:
Amber Hardman "Turkey Gurl"
This is a very special young lady.  She turned 16 years old in November of 2005.  She is a typical teenager during the week, but on weekends she races motorcycles.
In 1994 she went to her first race to watch her dad.  When she turned 5 she asked for her first motorcycle, but she was afraid of it in the beginning.  We had this bike for almost a year before she decided she wanted to try to ride it again.
When she decided to get on the bike at 6 years old we were never able to get her off of it again.  She fell in love with riding and with racing.  She has raced a Pee Wee Class, Junior Mini Class, Junior Girl Class, and a Women's Class.  The 2006 Season will make her fifth year in Women's Class.
She races two different Series in Virginia:  The Virginia Championship Hare Scramble Series and the Virginia Cross Country Series.  They are both AMA Sanctioned.  In 2005 she finished 3rd in Women's for the VCHSS and 3rd in Women's for the VXCS.
This page was started by her very proud Aunt to show the love and support she has for her.  We as her parents could not be any happier to see that people are proud of her and want to show their support.  We as her family and team members are very proud of everything this young lady has done and will do as she grows older.
She is part of a very special racing team it is Team Hardman Racing this includes:  Amber Hardman Women's Rider, Chris Hardman (her dad) Vet Rider and Donnie Hardman ( her cousin) 200A Rider.  This is a very strong team and we hope that it will continue to be strong and to grow with other family members in the years to come.
Thank you from Team Hardman  Racing and our family.

"You Just Got Passed By A Girl"
Days End
When the day is over with
And the sun begins to set,
I think about you for so long
And the first time we met.
I'd looked at you and saw something
I'd never seen before,
I saw that you were someone
Who I'd love forever more.
You made me feel so happy
In your special loving way,
And you made me laugh & giggle
With things you had to say.
I guess I'm glad your my friend,
And I'm you friend too.
Cause when the day is over with
I ALWAYS THINK OF YOU!

Never Say Good-BYE
Now it's time to say Good-Bye
Promise me that you won't cry.
Think about what the future holds
There's always time to say hello.
I love more then words can say,
And I'll miss you more everyday.
I'll remember the days
We laughed together,
And we promised to be friends forever.
Even though We'll be apart,
There will always be a bond
In our hearts.
So wipe away your tears...
Please don't cry,
Cause we'll never say GOOD-BYE!
