Introduction: Review of song learned last week - Twinkle,
Twinkle, Little Star
Process: He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands
- Sing thru whole song for students
- Sing phrase by phrase with students repeating
- Sing thru half at a time with students repeating
- Sing thru whole piece with students
- Teach hand motions to singing
- Teach next three verses with hand motions
- Emphasize quietness of 3rd verse because of the baby
Follow the Leader
- Teacher is first leader: moving, dancing, loud & soft, fast and
slow
Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star
- Sing 1st & 3rd section loud and middle section quiet, then vice
versa
Evaluation: Sing He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands thru
completely with motions
