VEE, for Validation by Educational Experience, is something that was implemented to tone down some of the preliminary exam material. Instead of being tested on economics, finance, and statistics concepts, one can take courses toward the VEE credits. If you don't get the VEE credits by graduation, there are other ways to get this credit.
Details are here.
NJIT offers all VEE credits as seen here [pdf], which are:
Applied Statistical Methods:
Math 344: Regression Analysis AND Math 447: Time Series Analysis
Corporate Finance:
Fin 315: Principles of Financial Management OR Fin 416: Corporate Finance
Economics:
Econ 265: Microeconomics AND Econ 266: Macroeconomics
Of course, these classes are part of the Applied Mathematics: Finance and Actuarial Science concentration requirements anyway.
