what i didn't say is that i'll never forget the touches or the sad faces in the morning 
i miss each time we would say goodbye 
your eyes open and undivided, softly pouring light 
resonating in wind chimes my breaths are lost in the breeze 
what i forgot to say is that i loved when you quietly watched me while i was sleeping 
i miss being held throughout my dreams 
your heart it plays like a piano, and i dance to its beats 
my plea for you to love me like before, a sad soliloquy 
i miss the walks through twilight when I'd sing you a favourite lovesong 
what i didn't say is that i love the memories 
your hands they touched against my soul like the sun
