“Words Fall”

Words fall out of my head
And onto your scattered brain
Confused in the masses of mesh and coils
Looking for a way to resurface
They get lost against the blazing eclipse
Little moments when I can’t stare into the sun
Words fail when I think of you
Like radiation punches to my heart
Causing a silence in my soul 
When it wants to reach for more
Words escape when I split in two
Cracked down the middle,
Attempting to engulf you
They fly into rainclouds 
And hide inside droplets
Expanded thru magnification
As they dive towards the surface
Right into my open mouth
I swallow,
Then release thru a scream
Everything I’ve been trying to say
Throughout my silent dream
