held in a firework's lasting glow
thru a kiss of freedom
that rings true in you
the beauty felt inside
like the calmly swaying ocean
   or the stars around my heart
You penetrate with a smile
all the walls that never failed
they crumble slowly and softly
with joy shooting from my face on the other side

I feel the heat from behind
as you guide me out
into a foreign world
where a treasure lies waiting
you hold my hand and kiss my cheek
my heart beats faster and my arms feel less weak
I'm forcing my soul to resurface
so you can stare for awhile
or step in, if you so desire
touch with gentle caresses and watch my insides glow
you allow those certain feelings I've always wanted to know
