“Happy Revelation”

feel my heart shiver in the afterthought
like an awakening before I go to sleep
as if Love could ring anew
a million times
bringing something different each time
a smile plastered as my head drops
my soul feels little wings sprouting
underneath the ones that grew so large
they’ll compliment and strengthen
   each other in due time
to help me fly with new life
and I’ll drift inside a starry night
kissing familiar faces
and hugging anyone I meet
like I could love the world
for the first time since I was young
a simple happy revelation
that shoots me straight into the sun
