The scent of the river at my feet
Swimming upstream with rainbow trout
We listen to each other’s hearts beat
The forgotten creation
Lost inside my cloudy mind
I trip across a foggy landscape
Watching the lives I've led unwind
The wonder and amazement
Love is desired, but goes unnoticed
The simplicity in my touch and words
Is all that you've ever wished
Sleeping through the day in a working haze
Lose myself in the world's game
At home it all feels right again
But if not all day, it is a shame
I believe that things are meant to be
We all know it, but don't always see
