I met a fly the other day
It gave me its wings so I could fly away
All I could say was, "Hey,
No thanks, these are too small anyway"
I met a millipede the other day
It gave me some legs so I could run away
All I could say was, "Hey,
No thanks, I've got my own two today."
I met a caterpillar the other day
It gave me a cocoon so I could hide away
All I could say was "Hey,
No thanks, I need not put myself away."
I met a butterfly the other day
It gave me a kiss so all I could say
Was. "Hey, you're pretty, why don't you stay?"
The butterfly just laughed and then flew away
