Serena is one of the Most lovable Characters in Sailor Moon.  Allthough She is  whiny and academicly challenged, she is very caring.  She is given her transformation broach by Luna, her talking cat.  She teams up with the other senshi and form an unbeatable team.

  One of her nicknames is "meatball head" which comes from Darien, her short time enemy.  Later on in the series, She finds out that Darien is Tuxedo Mask, her crush.  When Darien is mortally wounded by the negaverse, she cries for him.  Her tears bring together the seven rainbow crystals, forming the Silver Imperial Crystal.  She turns into Princess Serena, the long sought Moon Princess, and finds out that Darien is Prince Darien, her fiance from the past.  She places the Silver Imperial Crystal on her cresent moon wand and destroyes Queen Baryl, the head of the negaverse But loses Darien to her seviving minions.

After many failed attempts to free the evil brain-washed Darien, she tries once more.  She shows Darien her locket thet he gave her and convinced him to touch it and his mind was resored and they fight together agains the Negaverse as lovers. ; )
