THE ANSWER IS IN THE STEPS!!
Hey! My name is Robber and I am a member of the Here and Now Group of Narcotics Anonymous that meets at 8:00 PM on Tuesday night at 1414 Myers Ave., Dunbar, WV.
I would like to extend a welcome to all to come and join us in a celebration of another day clean any time you find yourself in West Virginia around the Charleston area. The Here and Now Group is a member Group of the Metro Valley Area Service Committee of Narcotics Anonoymous.
For my recovery it is important that I remember the basics that I learned early on, even though some of them come second nature now, it is good to see them in print, hear them shared in a meeting or discuss them before or after the meeting.
One of the first things I heard was:

Recovery It's an inside job. |

Recovery is a process, not an event. |

Insanity doing the same thing over again and expecting different results. |

Insanity Knowing the results and doing it anyway. |

One more thing that I heard that was so profound,
and it seems like I only heard it the other day:
THE ONLY WAY TO KEEP FROM RETURNING TO ACTIVE ADDICTION, IS NOT TO TAKE THAT FIRST DRUG!!!!!
