The mystery and magick of the Moon have fascinated and eluded us since the beginning of time. We now know of the magnetic effect it has on the tides and there is still debate on the effect the moon has on us.

Either way, almost all success in life depends on correct timing. Is it possible to use the energies of the moon to our benefeit? Sure is! By working with the phases of the Moon, we can prepare for upcoming weather conditions, grow a better garden, and even figure out the best time to ask for a raise or get a haircut!.

I have been completly fascinated by the moon since I was a child. With age, the fascination and wonder only grew with me. Therefore, I had to have this sight on my page, not only for my own self gratification, but for all the other "lunatics" out there.

On this page you will find how the different phases of the moon affect us, a guide to the full and new Moon dates for 2004 and even some interesting Moon lore.

Moon Spells

Full Moon wish spell-At night, when the moon is full, go outside with a glass of juice. Look up at the moon and tell it exactly what you desire. {Do this in full detail and don't leave anything out.} When you are done, lift your glass in toast to the moon and say:

"Mother Goddess,look and see

This goblet that I offer Thee

It is Yours for all You do

Gracious One of silver hue"

Pour the juice on the ground and know that your wish will be granted.

Luck-changing Chant-When nothing seems to go your way, go outdoors on a night when the moon is waxing. Then call on Selene, the Goddess of the Night and the Moon,by saying:

"Goddess of the Night and Moon

Change my luck and do it soon

Boost my strength and constitution

Bring to me a real solution"

Blow a kiss to the moon, and know that everything will be alright.

Harm was believed to come to a cow that stepped within the circle or ate its grass. It was also thought that you would become enchanted if you entered a fairy ring during a full moon.
